How to use Mbed IDE?

Hi all,

Recently I bought NXP om11042 mbed LPC2368. While creating mbed account I am getting the following error message.

" Sorry! We dont support new signups using this board"

I tried to download firmware using Keil uVision5 IDE, but the traget is not detected.

Kindly help me to start using the EVK and also to access Mbed IDE

Regards,

Neethu

Is it possible to use Keil uVision5 for this EVK.???????

If you download the mbed src , the TARGETS LPC23xx are available...maybe you can try this road.
Look at http://embeddedworldweb.blogspot.be/2013/12/how-to-build-mbed-src-and-hello-world.html
Good luck !

That board is really old, and has only ever been the beta version of the real first board, the LPC1768. In general I would advice you to buy that one. That one is still supported (just like pretty much every other board introduced), while the one you have is simply not supported anymore.

You can try mailing mbed support to activate it for you in the online compiler.

Hi,

I faced this problem nearly 2 years ago & they sent me a solution via support/e-mail...hope they can do the same for you!

I'd suggest you send an e-mail to support as they are usually pretty quick to respond to that.

See https://developer-sjc-cyan-border.mbed.org/questions/1709/Cant-register-LPC2368-mbed-against-my-ex/ for more info

Hi Jez,

I e-mailed the support team and i received the below response.

"For common issues please see our troubleshooting playlist at "http://goo.gl/C9zWI6"

The link just contain few video tutorials showing how to use mbed IDE and not how to sign in.

My doubt is that, Is there any possibility to use Keil uVision5 for this EVK through USB.

I've just managed to register it (on a different account)...go to https://developer.mbed.org/platforms/mbed-LPC2368/ & you should see the "Add to you mbed Compiler" button...so try clicking on that.
