mbed HDK system not recognized

Hello everyone,

I want to use the mbed HDK system in order to download and debug the software in the LPC4088 QuickStart Board.

I've connected the LPC4088 QuickStart Board to my PC (windows XP, sp3) via USB, but the peripheral manager doesn't recognize correctly the hardware (see attached picture).

Do you have any idea about this issue?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

It could be that the HDK Enable jumper (see image here) is not inserted. The jumper must be inserted, otherwise the HDK functionality will be disabled. The reason for the jumper is to allow an external debugger to be used.

Hi Anders,

thanks for the answer.

I've checked and the jumper is inserted.

The strange thing is that on another Windows XP sp3 PC the board has been recognized correctly.

Do you have other suggestions?
