i2c slave unrecognized identifier

my code wont compile when i try to use the f401re as a slave in 12c, is there a way to use it as an i2c slave?

Hello Jedidiah oyeyemi,

F401RE target does not support SPI slave at the moment, you can find the file device.h in the mbed sources for this target, where DEVICE_SPISLAVE is set to 0 and stated "not supported yet" Edit: also I2C is not supported yet.

if neither i2c nor spi can be done what other method can i use?
