mbed 002.2 - doesn't run HelloWorld

I was testing different sources for mbed parts and came across this model and found it announces that it doesn't allow new subscriptions but the real problem is it won't run the HelloWorld code. I can see the flash memory, write files but the code does not execute.

Any workarounds?

Based on the context, I'm guessing - let me stress that - that your mbed board is out of date or otherwise out of spec. It's not that mbed doesn't allow new sign ups: this message relates specifically to a board. Do you have, or can you get a currently supported model? For the record, mine's 005.1, which has probably been out for three or more years now, I think.

The only board I am aware of doing that is the LPC2368, which is the beta model of the LPC1768 mbed. If you are compiling LPC1768 code and running it on an LPC2368 it indeed won't work. So check on your mbed which microcontroller is on it exactly.

And the workaround? Well it says it already: Contact support.
