lpc 1768

In lpc1768 cortex _m3 the "1768" stands for ?

LPC1768 is just the name NXP gave the microcontroller. Considering their company name has no meaning whatsoever, I wouldn't expect their microcontroller names to have special meaning.

thanks for your answer.but till now iam searching i got a information about lpc is (low pin count) 17 is a version name and i cannot get any information about that (68) ..... what is that stands for.....????

LPC17xx is the name of the family of microcontrollers the LPC1768 belongs to, where in the family there are versions with for example different amounts of memory. But really there is no special meaning to microcontroller names.
