TEMT6000 and '1768 working on AA batteries

Using a TEMT6000

The '1768 on 4 NiMH AA batteries running my test program appears to require some 140mA. Maybe my tester is a bit unwealthy :)

Check this notebook on some ways to bring down the power consumption, and this one on how to reduce RTC backup current.

Great note, thanks!

Shutting down the ethernet PHY resulted in some 40mA saving; shutting down unneded timers and other stuff resulted in a few milliamps extra saving.

It appears anyway that having USB connected and 5V battery, the power is drained from both sources.
