Determine your version of Simplicity

To check which version of Simplicity Studio you have installed, go to the install location of Simplicity Studio on your hard drive. In order to get the new kit firmware to enable mbed on your old kits, it is required that you use Simplicity Studio v3 or higher.

Windows

The default location is C:/SiliconLabs/SimplicityStudio
If you only have a v2 folder in there, please download the latest installer from the Silicon Labs website to install v3.
