ST_Link Driver Install

I installed the ST_Link V2 driver and the V2 works great on the NUCLEO board. However, it does not work on the 32l476GDISCOVERY board. Did a reinstall of the driver with the link to thee board plugged in by mistake. how to correct this.

Hi there,

your description is inadequate. How the board is affected by the undescripted error?

Be sure you have latest firmware version of the ST-link.

The ST driver is for the ST-link not for a board so no matter what type of a board (Nucleo/Discovery) you use. So if the driver works with your Nucleo board also must works with the Disco board.

When your "not working" error is about virtual com port. Something like this example not working, then you probably need to focus on "Getting started" section on the board's page

Quote:

Virtual Com Port configuration By default the Virtual Com Port is not enabled. To enable it, you need to close SB13 and SB16 solder bridge and ensure that SB15 and SB17 are open.

Best regards J.
