Power Supply FRDM KL25Z
Does the FRDM KL25Z can be fed by an external baterry instead of the computer? And if it can do it, it may also run a program meanwhile it is feed by the external battery?

Yes, it sure can. You can buy a Lipo battery, and a boost converter to provide a steady 5V to the board through USB. Here are couple good ones that I can recommend.
