Example project Sensor demo used with BllueNRG not working

Hello,

I was just testing through the BlueNRG smartphone app. I scan for signal and I find the device but then when I open it the app shows that no data is transferred, the cube don't move and the temperature sensor don't receive data. After a while I receive the message "peripheral disconnected"

I have tried to attach a zipfile with a video but the system didn't let me, if anybody helps I could send it privately. Thanks for any help.

I am kind of newbie. I have just followed the quick-start instruction. Could it be that is not working because the board is a "DEPRECATED Component"

Hi Pietro,

the X-NUCLEO-IDB04A1 board is deprecated but you can still run example projects based on old revisions of mbed and its related BLE libraries.

Anyway you are using the wrong smartphone app to test it. The example application available in mbed (BLE_HeartRate_IDB04A1) can be tested with the "STM32 BLE Profiles" app for Android and iOS. Based on your post, I guess you are using the "BlueNRG" app, instead, which is using a different profile.

For more information about how to use the example and the correct smartphone app, please refer to this page (even if it is related to the new X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 board).
