Using 2 nucleo expansion boards at same time

Hi,

I plan to stack the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A2 (sensors) and X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 (BLE) on top of my Nucleo F401RE board My question is will that cause any conflict in pin usages between the 2 expansion boards that render one of them become useless?

I haven't use those particular boards, but have used others (as well as designed my own to use LCDs etc) and my answer would be that as long as you don't use the same pin for two different functions (one for something in the first board, and then for something different in the other) there will be no problem. Somewhere I saw once using a pin for two different functions at different times and perhaps it has to be like this since the Nucleo has so few pins, but it is complicated, and as far as not strictly necessary I say avoid this.

I took a look at the pin layout of both and the used pins (in green) are not overlapped at all. Magically. Thanks for your reply
