How to program GSM SIM800?

Good day programmers!

I'm having trouble in programming the gsm sim800. Can someone give a sample code for callup using the GSM library found here: https://developer.mbed.org/teams/components/code/GSM/docs/tip/classGSM.html

Looks like a serial device. Have a look at other serial devices and that will show you how to set up this serial device.
