What is max size of application for upgrade Multiconnect Dragonfly board? Is it 512K/3?
Multiconnect Dragonfly board has 512K flash. It seems bootloader upgrades application using following procedure:
1. Check sum is verified of new and old firmware 2. If different it copies old firmware as backup 3. Erases old firmware and copies new firmware 4. Deletes old and new firmware if flash is successful
So this means during this process we need to have 1. Old firmware 2. Backup of old firmware 3. New firmware
Hence this upgrade will only work if firmware is less than 512K / 3.
Let me know if this is correct?
