Do I need pull up resister or external Circuity to connect ESP8266 wifi module with my NucleoF401RE

Hello,

I want to add wifi functionality to my NucleoF401RE board where my sensors are connected by connecting ESP8266 wifi model to the UART interface of the NUCLEOF401RE (PA_9, PA_10), I was able to flash the Espressif firmware successfully now my question is "Do I need pull up resister or external Circuity to connect ESP8266 wifi module with my NucleoF401RE??? "

Hi Maria,

Thanks for your question :)

Nope, no pull up resistor need at all. You need to just follow to the connectivity diagram as show and declare the correct UART in your program and you should be all good to go :).

thanks Andrea for your answer. Now I was able to flash the Espressif Firmware and going forward to connect my board to the Raspberry pi server.
