LoRa Network API

Hello,

Will there be a mbed standard API for LoRaWAN (like https://docs.mbed.com/docs/mbed-os-api-reference/en/5.1/APIs/communication/ble/ for BLE) in the near future ?

I'm using Semtech and Microchip (RN2483) LoRa Chipsets. Both have their on libraries and APIs. It would be very helpful to have a common "mbed" API!

Is there anything available now or in the near future?

Hi Eric,

Late reply, but I just saw this thread. We're working on a standard LoRaWAN API for mbed OS (5.5?). We'll bring a (hopefully pre-certified) LoRaWAN MAC layer into mbed OS, and then every silicon partner can bring it's own PHY layer.
