What purpose is this jumper on F303K8 board ?

Hello everyone. I'm a beginner and just under learning about mbed using F303K8 board now. I successfully make some code using a template code, LED control with PWM and etc... So, I have a simple question about F303K8 board. Please see attached an image. What is a this jumper ? How to use this jumper ? Is it OK to remove it ? /media/uploads/MNagayoshi/f303k8.jpg Sorry, my question is not about code but I want to know. If possible, please let me know.

HI Masahiro,

Thanks for you message i'd be glad to help.

If you consult the documentation found here: http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1974150.pdf?_ga=1.17150778.2032567894.1471259089

At section 5.1:

Therefore this jumper is just acting as a toggle/switch for whatever purpose you require. At its present moment it is just pulling D2 to GND when it is placed on. You can therefore remove it if you wish but it maybe useful to keep it on the board in case you need to use it any point.

I hope that helps, if you need anything more, please let me know :)

Regards,

Andrea, team mbed.
