How do you control the output of the compiler?

I desire to output directly to NUCLEO F401RE but compiler wants to know what program to "Open the File with". A couple of months ago I was using the online compiler to compile and download the file to my Nucleo and it would run. I have just started to get back to work on my project and it wont download the successful compile file to the Nucleo.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Dontheone.

Possibly you can set your browser to download directly to your Nucleo automatically. But thats not something the compiler itself can do.

Hi Erik In the past I would do a compile and if successful it would automatically download to my computer to the download directory which I could change to the Nucleo. It would download and restart and run the program. Now on a successful compile it displays a box that asks what program I want to open the file with. None of these are the hard drive or the Nucleo. They are offline toolchains for choices. All of which I do not have. Thanks for the response. Dontheone

Edit Apology. I did an update on the download directory and it updated and found the files there. Unknown reason why files were not displayed when first checked. File moved to Nucleo and reset and run as normal. Thanks for your response.
