what just happened to developer.mbed.org?

The developer.mbed.org site was completely gone for at least an hour starting around 1AM Eastern. I lost some work, and I'm just wondering what happened. It's not the first time I've experienced an interruption with mbed at around this time, so I'm wondering if the site often goes down for maintenance in the early morning? Should I not expect it to be reliable between midnight and 3AM? That would be a shame because that's the best time to work imho :)

I was afraid if it was in relation to new site relative mbed OS ( Don't need an OS for now!) . And raised a question how can I save My workspace? good mornig for all

Hi Jesus,

I hope you'll forgive us for the inconvenience. This was a DNS related issue caused by an infrastructure provider that, as you mention, there have been issues with in the past. Because of these issues we were already in the process of moving away from them and will now be looking to speed up this process.

When we have scheduled maintenance that we know could affect the stability of the site we try to give advanced warning and there is a message on http://mbed.status.io/

Steve, thanks for the explanation and of course I'll forgive you; forgiveness is my nature, and mbed is an awesome free service after all :)
