Common Applications
The targeted application for this sensor is floor-tracking for robotics. The PAA5101 sensor has both an LED and a laser light source which works with different effectiveness depending on the surface that the sensor is looking at. With an algorithm that tells the sensor when to switch between LED and laser, the PAA5101 is able to track with high performance across a very wide range of surfaces.
